DIY Fabric Headboard

Our guest bedroom was in major need of an update.  First up: new headboard.  With so many different options of headboards we just couldn't decide.  I finally decided to give a Fabric Headboard a try.  I made a basic wooden frame, filled it in with batting, and then covered it in fabric.  Easy, cheap and made a dramatic change!

The construction.  I placed plain yellow fabric in the back to hold the batting in.  I layered the batting using spray adhesive for each layer.  Then I stapled the fabric to the frame (trimmed any excess).  Flipped it over, and did it the same with the decorative fabric to cover the front.

Final product!  It looks so good and is very comfortable!
